Batam, August 17, 2010 - Happy Anniversary 65^th Negara Kesatuan Indonesia. There have been many developments since 1945 in Indonesia. Meanwhile, if we look for creative industry especially animation world, it still growing up and we have not got much contribution from the government.

Indonesian animation world has begun since 1955 with "Si Doel Memilih Karya" movie by Dukut Hendronotoyang. It became the history that Indonesian animation world was started. Animation in Indonesia was stagnate and showed again in 1970s. "Huma" is the phenomenal movie at that time. Then animation world in Indonesia was vacuum again and woke up in the year of 2000 showed by the movie of "Homeland" and "Janus Prajurit Terakhir." 

"Sing To The Dawn" or "Meraih Mimpi" in Indonesian version  is booming in 2009 and became the first 3Dfull animated feature film that showed in the cinema and distributed to other countries: Singapore, Russia and Korea. Revivification of animation world supported by Animation Film Festival that held in this few years. Indonesian Animation Film Festival, National Animation Festival, Indonesian Animation Festival, Hello Fest are the examples. Those events were supported by animation communities, computer graphics communities in Indonesia and also supported by Indonesian Government.

In the 65^th Indonesian Independent Day, let’s show our contribution to the development of Indonesian Animation World. Hope we can gain better thing in the future and be able to compete with other animation movie in the world.
